Minutes of the Pre-Bid Meeting - Supply of Medicines and Non-Medicines (Surgical) Items at Reserve Bank of India, Main Office Building Dispensary, Kanpur & Kidwai Nagar Staff Quarters Dispensary, Kanpur

According to the Schedule of eTender, Pre-Bid meeting for the captioned tender was held on March 05, 2025 under the chairmanship of AGM, Establishment Section. The officials from RBI and out of nine empanelled chemists, representatives of only three empanelled chemists participated in the pre-bid meeting.

2. Following a brief introduction by the Bank regarding the eTender, various queries were raised by the empanelled chemists, which were then clarified by the Bank. A summary of the same is furnished below:

1. Any change in this year’s tender? Assistant Manager, Medical Section gave detailed information to the empanelled chemists about the changes in medicine return policy and terms and conditions of ordering and supply of medicines after the bid as mentioned in the tender documents for the coming financial year.
2. Clarification on the amount of bank guarantee. Assistant Manager, Medical Section informed that the total bank guarantee amount of the tender would be Rs. 40 lakh but the amount of bank guarantee pertaining to the chemist would be proportional to the percentage of distribution to be given to that chemist.
3. Which documents are need to be uploaded? Assistant Manager, Medical Section informed that after filling all the details, it is mandatory for the respective bidder to upload the RFQ document, every document mentioned in the RFE and EMD payment confirmation documents.

3. Furthermore, tenderers were advised to thoroughly review the tender document and the tentative scope of work in its entirety and to contact MSTC personnel for any technical issues regarding registration, bidding etc. on the MSTC portal.

4. The above minutes may be treated as part of the tender. All terms and conditions of the tender shall remain unchanged.
